Hebrew Wisdom in Psalm 119 Series (9 DVD's)
This series, by Mark Manfredine, looks at Torah through a new lens – the perspective of Psalm 119. Psalm 119 is arranged in an acrostic pattern.
There are 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet, and this Psalm contains 22 sections of 8 verses each. Each of the 22 sections is given to a letter of the Hebrew alphabet, and each line in that section begins with that Hebrew letter.
So, as it turns out, there is a very good reason why Psalm 119 is as long as it is. It is a powerful chapter which focuses on the blessing of the Torah through each of the letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
